Funding for the project is based on the model outlined below. Funding percentages have been calculated using historical funding percentages from projects similar to this one.

Because funding is from multiple sources and is dependent upon initial authorization and subsequent recurring authorizations from Congress, the NC General Assembly and Dare County, should any of the component sources fail to provide the expected revenues, then the other sources would have to be increased or the project would have to be delayed.
